I'm ready to play my first round fixtures, but I thought the rules states league commences on Nov 18, that's why.

Also, just thinking it through. The rules should add a couple more things.

(1) Do we take the results up to full time 90 mins only, or include extra time?

(2) Because these are ranked games, irregardless of what is the decision in (1) above, players should finish the game up to penalty so that you don't have bad DNF%. However, score/points should only be up to 90/120 mins, depending on consensus to (1) above. Therefore, it is possible for a game to end up a DRAW.

(3) Points awarded as follows: win = 3 points, draw = 1 point and lose = 0 points.

(4) Substitutions allowed : 3

(5) Bookings/offside/injury set to : ON

(6) Ball : default

What else?

Should be 90 minutes only. Personally I'm not too fond of extra-time/penalties. It would be good for a LYN cup competition though.

Does anyone know what the recent update did to the game? I played FIFA07 last nite after a week's layoff and it prompted me to update. Scoured the web but couldn't find anything. Not sure, but feel the game has been tweaked somewhat.

Just read somewhere that you can turn off the (irritating) ESPN Radio : navigate to Football News -> press Start -> ESPN Settings -> turn off.

Played it last night, dint prompt me to update. Although I think there is a roster update when you try to play Live.
