Most antivirus licenses are limited to 1 year only. Cheers!

Imagine of you only pay say Rm200 for a software for unlimited years. So the AV companies only earning your money once in a few years(till they release a new version and you'll be asking why no free upgrade) and they pay peanuts to the monkeys that are programming 24/7 and researching to get the AV definitions out quick so that you can buy Rm200 for lifetime??? Is this what you want? Get real... rclxub.gif

No point being sarcastic... Many sources out there are very distracting. People can be confused. We just explain it. Keep it simple. Cheers!

Software would most probably work, just you won't get new updates/signatures.
Most new ones work on subscription nowadays, so once that ends the updates end till you renew the subscription.

Agree with refnulf. But for certain AVs (I can't remember, might be older versions too!), No Pay Means No Use. So, I would suggest you read through those AVs' EULA and so on. Cheers!

Another one asking about the best AV. There are NO Best AVs. Panda is OK.

"I cant check the price from website here."

What is your meaning? You can't find it in LYN Forum. LOL. That would be Of Course Not. Go check it on the vendor's Website. Cheers!

Use Karspersky anti virus as I found this is the best anti virus so far after norton, mcafee, pc-cilin are tested. Karspersky will sweep away the threads and keep your pc totally clean.

Darude,
If you feel that paying 100 bucks is expensive, perhaps you can try and ask around for student editions as they should retail for lower prices.
