QUOTE(driftmeister @ Dec 9 2008, 11:02 PM) just tanah rata restaurants not that many people i guess.but if u go brinchang, almost all restaurants (especially steamboat ones) are packed like mad. can consider this time to be peak season though. called up many hotels/guest houses last weekend and all fully-booked. then it's quite jam everyday there during the weekend too. QUOTE(stimix @ Dec 9 2008, 11:07 PM) Actually yes, KL steamboast are better but those in Tanah Rata are better than Berinchang...Well the recommended indian mamak roti canai in Tanah Rata also tasteless compare to KL.. the indian mamak restaurant is it the one next to Hong Kong Restaurant? i saw many people eating there too, wanted to try but was a bit worried on how good it is. was supposed to go to Restoran Highlands in brinchang, supposedly the only one that has charcoal steamboat i think (or maybe there is another one, but i don't know where). fully packed and we forgot to book earlier, so didn't bother. the boss there also didnt even bother to layan us when we were keen on waiting for a table. |
