That's only if u goto Sg Palas...The Habu is OK ..the road able to accomodate 2 cars.

Anyway dun worry-lah..so many ppl drove there b4 & I even saw woman drivers negotiating those narrow curve... biggrin.gif

We really need a good skillz driving to reach there, if not, dangerous...just like the pic, scratching the whole wall...

Bro, nowadays the lady driver very skillful, u know? Haha...

So if i drive Pajero is that probably too big for the road? I'm worry about that...

From the Cameron Highlands map i saw, there's a Parit Waterfall nearby the Century Pines, is it nice? How to reach there? Thanks wink.gif

Hotel Budget: <RM150 per room
Hotel Condition: Simple & Clean

Option 1: Rainbow Hotel (Brinchang)
Option 2: Kowloon Hotel (Brinchang)
Option 3: Rosa Passadena Hotel (Brinchang)
Option 4: Hotel Casa de la Rosa (Tanah Rata)
Option 5: Iris House Hotel (City)
Option 6: Parkland Hotel (Brinchang)

Except Option 4, all others are located in the town centre & very noisy & u probably suffering from exhaust pollution. But option 4 is not cheap....Go for those hotels not located near the main road. I have banned Brinchang for years...expensive & lousy food....For me Tanah Rata is a nice & cosy small town compare wth the more bigger & cut throat Brinchang...There are few nice guest houses in Tanah Rata & my recommendation is KRS guest House - Very quiet & about 500m deep inside Jln Mentigi, at the back of Mayabank Tanah Rata. Very clean room wth attached hot water bathroom. Price RM60/nite weekday, RM70/nite weekend & RM80 major public Holiday.....BTW, if boring just walk -out to common lobby & surf the Astro channels available...(No one there... thumbup.gif

They are part of twin pine guest house group just at the bck of Maybank (Twinpine looks old but KRS is very new ..price also-lah..Twin Pine is much cheaper....& one of the most talk about guesthouse by Mat Salleh to Cameron Highland...Thus U will find lotsa Mat Salleh staying at Twin Pines.)

Thanks buddy, I never thought of KRS Pine guest house until you told me that. tongue.gif I've booked it anyway with a budget price RM70 for twin sharing room (peak season rate). It really saves me a lot. tongue.gif

Is it something like this?

Yes that's the one. Too bad I din snap any photo of the room but believe me, it's clean wth attached hot water bathroom. A very basic room wth no TV. The common shared TV is located at the TV room (Each floor has it's own TV/reading room)...U can watch all channel Astro there if u feel bored inside the room....But be warned..The location is in between few houses & very narrow. & therefore very difficult to park your car. nevertheless still OK..If the carpark full u hv to park further from the hotel. I enjoy walking down the narrow alley to the 2 famous steamboat restaurants at Tanah Rata town (Hong Kong & Mayflower) thumbup.gif

Also dun booked the rooms on the right hand side, there is a row of wooden houses opposite & the kids are very noisy!

T Cafe for their scones with butter and cream.... yummy... thinking of it makes me want to go to CH soon.. sigh... trip is only in November (annual hibernation period) LOL...

There is one indian shop near Mary Brown... just love the teh tarik at night... just like having tea in Europe... except for occasional gush of diesel fumes... even at night..

Both at Tanah Rata.
