btw...pinched harmonic lesson could be acquired at Youtube and see how ppl do it....i can do the best tone at 2nd and 3rd string only....for the 3 bottom string....still need more pratice...haha
I can only say hold your pick is only the tiny bit of expose...roughly 3mm..when you pick the string....use you side of thumb to touch the string....another thing is....use bridge pickup....pick the string at neck pickup....to me.....it's easier....is that an alternative?
Yeah...finally i had put a V6 engine into my kancil....I let Yamaha music school musical instrument specialist to do it....cost RM20 for each...at first i still doubt that izzit too cheap as bentley cost more than RM50 for each.....he just help me to desolder the INF pickup and replace with these two Dimarzio....about the sound....it's not too obvious if it pass through the G2.1u pedal...when it's plugged straight into the amp....it was very bright and clear...vibrato, pull off, hammer on could be heard obviously as compared to the stock pickup....but i still prefer Evolution more than Breed...strumming is way too fun for me now...
Happy Chinese New Year to you all guys...god bless me got more angpau...
Woooo. Congrats on your pickup installations. But yeah, RM20 IS quite cheap..... quality wise? Good job?
Thanks...yeah..it's not bad...just not as good as what i expected before...but it's really rocks....Not really good job...one part of the pickguard is not stick with the body properly as earlier....bcoz of the wire of DImarzio pickup...it's harder than INF pickup and thicker coz it's assembly of 5 wires....
btw...if i wanna change my FR...except Ibanez original FR...which brand is fits ibanez body? Thanks.

I see...Gotoh's name is all around guitarist forum....comparing to an EDGE PRO.....which one turn up as the winner?
I'm having a long time never dive my tremolo since it'll gone out of tune easily....and the tuning was a big headache for me....where could i found the retailer?
If your amp having distortion channel, you can get boss ds-1 or digitech bad monkey as booster pedal too....probably i would get a digitech bad monkey.....i remember last time bentley selling RM160(1 year ago:P)....
For your Ibanez RG, it is recommended that you get One F-Spaced for the bridge and one Normal Spaced for your neck. According to most, whether or not your bridge is F-spaced or not, does not really affect the tone much (since the magnet or whatever 'aura' do not travel straight up from the polepieces). But rather more for cosmetic purposes. Having F-spaced for your bridge will align the pole pieces nicely under your strings.
And as for the neck, there is no need for F-spaced because the string spacing is the same as Les Paul guitars, I think.
Correct me if I'm wrong, fellow forumites.
Yeap...agreed with you...My Dimarzio Evolution bridge really doesn't alligned properly with the string.....hope this doesn't effect the sound much....
which Ibanez/pickup combo did u get the 'missalignment'?
I read somewhere that Ibanez with OFR/LFR bridge will have these F-spaced pickups because the bridge is wider... but how about those with vintage style trem bridge?
My evollution bridge pickup...doesn't allign properly obviously...for the neck breed...it's having same alignment with the middle pickup...
Are you sure with that...? Now i'm still planning to change to Gotoh FR...afraid the tone will gone if it's even worse allignment.....
btw...who's going to ASIAN BEAT grand final?i'm kinda intrested..
The guest comes up, plays a few tunes, have a Q&A session (the most important part), jams on a few more tunes, Hype the product they're selling, more Jam and then the end.....
Autograph session, and then you go home.
Can i just buy the ticket as an audience..? bcoz it's quite hasseling to bring my guitar there..
