btw, has anyone bought that "chotto shot" game ?? the one with the camera?? can the camera function direct from the XMB?? or only can access from the game?

Sony released 5 games on launch date lar. They are:

1. Ridge Racer 7
2. Resistance: Fall of Man
3. Mobile Suit Gundam: Target in Sight
4. Miyasato Miyoshi Kyoudai Naizou: Sega Golf Club
5. Genji: Days of the Blade

Each game will cost around RM250

wow...at least i guessed earlier that it would not be more than US$5, coz i'm sure no one would pay more than that for a PS1 title, even if u made it portable. but if they put the FF series in the US$15 range, ppl might just buy them. or other titles like chronotrigger and other fancy RPG titles.

if Apple can sell tunes @ US$0.99, i'm sure it'll be a walk in the park for Sony. in the long run, it might even help rebuild their reputation from all the problems they encountered this year.

i thought 3rd party games need to acquire some sort of licence from sony b4 they can even be developed for the platform, like the PS2. so doesn't that mean that Sony too can call the shots??

but i do agree....Sony can let their reputation go down the crapper and they will still make an obscene amount of money from ppl like us. sweat.gif

It provides an alternative of the games we play. FF7 has a great storyline and FF12, well...lets just say I feel that storyline wise, the FF series has gone downhill since the days of FF7.

Pretty graphics is not everything. And this is about playing an FF series on the PSP, last I checked, FF12 is for the PS2.

i actually enjoyed FFVIII,FFX and FFXII. FFIX suX0rs though.

as zio said, it's all about nostalgia. it'll remind us of the old days where polygons, texture fill rate and FPS do not matter. besides, it will let the newer generation of video gamers (post-PS1) to enjoy some old-skool gaming on their spanking new PSPs. (that just shows how old we are) sweat.gif

i've been to Gamer's Hideout and seen GRAW in action. not bad. if u're going down to GH anytime soon, lemme know. maybe we can have a LAN session and i wanna see GOW in action.
i'm not abandoning my PSP per se, but will kinda abandon it 'financially' as it would be difficult for my wallet to survive if it had to accomodate both consoles. (not to mention my 2007 target of owning a PS3). sweat.gif

as for untold legends, does it suck compared to dungeon siege??

btw, when u take a photo, does it give out that "shutter click" sound effect (like digicams and handphones)??? oh...and does it have flash or something??...coz if it doesn't, it's useless in the dark.
