It's a Sony *spoken in a sexy women voice*.

Well, i think they didn't reprogrammed the whole firmware. Just the memory module. Small part, no big deal for a big company to hire programmers. wink.gif

p/s: This is only the logical explanation I can come up with. My logical view, my point of view. biggrin.gif If it's different from the real thing or it's illogical, don't flame me arrr... tongue.gif

Most probably, Sony will stop producing fat PSPs. The updates... not sure if they will continue or discontinue it. Hopefully they'll continue...

For the time being... no one in LYN forum owns it yet... so, we have to wait for someone to buy it first. Heard the prices are up already... true? no?

This game reminds me of Virtua Soccer (the one with bloated heads).
Btw, just updated muh Killzone: Liberation, yet to see any changes (haven't tried it yet). Will try it out later.

You are experiencing lag at XMB? shocking.gif How come?
By the way, a noob question coming up, is there any way of outputing to screen with fat guy using homebrew? I tried RemoteJoySDL but then cannot install the USB driver.

Just got back from JB, and I tried looking around JB if there are any slims available blush.gif
They don't have it, furthermore, the shopkeepers were like, slim? what slim? (discussing among themselves) and one of them thought *wtf this fool talking about...* and told me, blom klua lagi la bang (in an impolite way) shakehead.gif

anyway, msn83235502 tried RemoteJoy?

Okay, got it working. Fixed some keys, etc. Since mine is a TA-082 mobo.

The frame rate is 40-50 fps. According to what I see on the monitor. tongue.gif
I think it's lagging a little bit since it's running off a USB connection. And I can't run fullscreen coz not supported by my monitor. sweat.gif It must've been the super low res of PSP.

First, I copied all the plugin files (SEPLUGINS directory, you'll only need these) into my memstick. Don't forget to ENABLE it. tongue.gif

And then I tried to install the driver. Failed, since I have a corrupted key (firmware key I suppose). blink.gif

So, I ran KeyCleaner 1.3 and fixed the corrupted keys (and I'll say, most were corrupted). But there are still 2 corrupted keys which KeyCleaner 1.3 couldn't fix. If I remembered it correctly, it was key 41 (holds the version of the PSP, mine is PSP-1000) and 45 (holds the USB description of the PSP) (it says these are just a copy of 5 and 7, was it 5 and 7... can't remember tongue.gif but it did state the problem was a copy of some other key). hmm.gif

To fix this, I downloaded idrepair, idstoragemanager and idstoragechanger. And then I ran idstoragemanager (if this homebrew can't replace keys, try with the other two) to replace the keys 41 and 45 with a good one. After that, I ran KeyCleaner 1.3 again to check if its good. unsure.gif

YES! I received a Congratulations message. rclxm9.gif Now I can install the LibUSB driver. After installing this, run Start-USBHostFS_PC.bat, Start-PSPSH.bat and Start-RemoteJoy.bat (without FPS) or Start-RemoteJoy-FPS.bat (with FPS).

I tested it out with:
Virtua Tennis 3
Killzone: Liberation

One problem I encountered was the home key is not useable. It won't let me get back to the XMB shocking.gif It just hangs at Please wait...
So, I had to took out the battery sweat.gif
The problem lies in the plugin, when I disabled the plugin, its useable again icon_rolleyes.gif

Warning:
DO NOT UNPATCH key 5 while in KeyCleaner 1.3 as it might BRICK your PSP. And then you have to get yourself a Pandora Battery, etc. rclxub.gif

RM650 is together with 4GB MSPD? And where did u bought it? wink.gif
As for the FFCC's CG, my bet (just a guess) is maybe u're running it off MSPD. Sometimes, it lags. Maybe we'll wait for the others who played FFCC.

Isn't it a risk to brick any PSP in the first place? tongue.gif
Anyway, I think they'll raise the Slim so that they can sell-off the Phat at current price (sharks don't want to lower the Phat price).

Back from Bernard's. biggrin.gif My oh my, the PSP Slim & Lite is very slim and very lite cry.gif Now i want one...

Anyway, tried the FF:CC one Slim & Lite. No problem with intro. Bernard said it might be the 4GB. You need to format it to FAT instead of FAT32.
