another question, ive been reading on other forums that says you cannot downgrade the firmware once you're above 3.50, is that true?

source
*
AFAIK, its true that current firmware above 3.50 is unable to be downgraded or use custom firmware. You will need to wait for a custom firmware for your current version to be released before you could flash them..

This game only available in Japanese eh? Is there an English version?

Tried it since last week and yes, its in Japanese.

Cant really understand what they are saying..LOL..But the game is OK, as i still rate Ridge Racer abit better and more realism in some cases..

But quite enjoyable as a free time game.. smile.gif

Guys, to all who are or were playing Test Drive Unlimited, how do you sell a car?
*
Just wondering there bro, how do you rate TDU for PSP? Is it by any chance, better than Burnout Dominator and Ridge Racer?

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Aug 31 2007, 06:38 PM)
if it's a hot day and your car is parked outside (without shade), i suggest not to keep it in the car.
*
Well, since its portable, why put it in the car in the first place? I would love to bring my PSP everywhere and enjoy it when have the time..LOL..

Ahh, after so long of hardwork in my office, at last i have the time to enjoy some gaming with my PSP this weekend. I went to see a few PSP accesories today at Ikano and the pricing are shakehead.gif ..Was thinking of getting a case in the first place. Besides, to those who are interested, i saw Monster Hunter Freedom 2 there as well...

they are cutthroats, IMHO... just go to Djinn terus tongue.gif

Guys, something went wrong with my PSP yesterday while i was playing it..

Not a big deal but i would love to know what had happened.

When i transfered some files/games over to my PSP yesterday, my theme was originally set to "ORIGINAL" which at that point, is blue in color. After that, i launched the game.

After playing for while, i exited the game and was shocked to see that my current theme is in purple. I went back to the theme setting and its showing purple when its on ORIGINAL. May i know what might be wrong there as suddenly the blue color became purple?

Do u always play PSP with battery inside and the charger on? I just put the battery in when bringing my PSP outdoor. Wonder if playing it frequently with charger only (without the battery all the time) would do any damage to the console. Help guys..
*
Well, i "sometimes" do play the PSP with battery inside and charger on but not very frequent. Thats when i really could not let go of the game i am playing at that point and the battery went dead..LOL..

Anyway, i have heard quite a number of people playing the PSP without the battery and with the AC adapter and had yet to know any bad effects though..I personally play my PSP using battery all the time. When i am not playing, out it goes to the charger..LOL..

I never knew of that. And i thought the PSP got hit by some virus or so..LOL!!

Anyway, does this means everyone who is on "original" theme right now should be on "purple"?

Wow..RM700 only?

Thats a nice price for the PSP Slim. Now, would the older gen PSP drop its pricing soon? LOL...

I have seen Play-Asia having the PSP Slim FF7:CC edition for sale for only about RM1400.Nice price indeed...

About the battery life thingy, this is how it works :

Basically, Sony is CLAIMING that the new PSP Slim is going to have a better battery saving option, thus, prolonging the life of the battery. This in turn, leads to a longer battery life.

However, with this feature, Sony has decided to include a lower wattage battery (IIRC, around 1200mAH) for the new PSP Slim, instead of the usual 1800mAH on the older PSP. In this case, it WILL have a shorter battery life when compared to the older PSP.

Both cases compared together, both PSP and PSP Slim are rated to have fairly similar battery consumption and life.

With this being said, Sony also CLAIM that the new PSP Slim is able to use the older, thicker battery from the PSP which will provide higher wattage (1800mAH compared to 1200mAH) and thus, this will be able to give you more battery life. One down side to this is, the older gen battery is going to be thicker and you WILL NOT be able to close the battery cover of the PSP Slim. Sony said that they will develop a new battery cover, for the PSP Slim to solve this problem BUT, the battery side will still be thicker than usual..

So, make your choice there..

Regarding your question on whether we can use the Slim PSP battery on the older gen PSP or not, well, i am also not sure. But by looking at the theoretical point behind this, i doubt you will want to use it even if its possible. Its because you will have a smaller wattage battery on a more power consuming PSP and thus, even shorter battery life than what you have currently... smile.gif
