Hi, interested to own a PSP. Was looking around and some shops recommended me the 1.5v for ahem games and some recommended 2.71v. Would appreciate if someone would be able to give me some advice.

Yeah, not available yet in US/JPN official site.. have to wait for a while.. but it's confirm that firmware 3.0 can be downloaded now via Network Update..

as i posted earlier it seems tat we need a PS3 to download PSOne games, maybe we need 3.1 in order to direct download from PSP?

Yeah, looks like it.. but i think they will setup another site specifically for PSP, and download PSOne games from there.. thats what SCEA executive told us before. Maybe for the time being, have to use PS3, but I dont think anyone here who owns PS3 can buy the PSOne game since they cannot setup the billing information due to credit card region lock.

with rm800 or at least rm850..you can get a psp already..

and about this fw thingy..you go wherever also at sgwang shop..they will recommend you 1.5 for sure..as 2.8 psp are very cheap and they wont do much profit with it if they sell it also..2.8 psp is around rm700-rm750 while 1.5 can go till rm850.

me going to upgrade also tonight..see how..
now me with white..cannot upgrade..region3 version.

.[UMD Auto-Start] has been added as a feature in [System Settings] under [Settings]

p/s: there is another new icon called [Certificate Utility] under [Game] as well, not sure what it does since SONY didnt state anything from this. and yah, i love the UMD Auto-Start feature
