how to charge my psp slim using usb cable? can I used any usb cable and draw power from my pc. any settings to do it or just plug the cable to my psp?
*
Yes, any normal cable will work for the Slim.

After plugging in the cable, you will need to enable 'USB connection'. Only then, will it charge.

Anywho, having a problem with the game Dead Head Fred.

Since last week I noticed that I couldn't engage 1st person view and didn't care much for it.

But now, I have come to a point in the Nukular plant where you have to spray the acid to melt the bridge down and I can't do it in 3rd person view.

Anyone nearing this section [Nukular plant] or still in the Boonies, kindly pass me your save file. I do not want to start all over again. cry.gif

Thanks in advance and I will greatly appreciate it. biggrin.gif

Cheers.

i see, any suggestion for a good earphones? planning to get one since i've been using the psp w/o using any and it can get annoying since there are times i cant hear some sounds properly unless i blast the volume high up.
how much is that creative earphone during the time you bought it?
*
Get the Sony EX-71. Reasonable sound quality for that price range.

Or better still, a pair of Shure is definitely the way to go IMHO. biggrin.gif

Btw wht is Av Output Guys And the old psp Din't have izit?
*
You can output av for the phat PSP but it is very troublesome as hardware mod is required.

Hmmm... not sure whether I should share my experience with you people or not. I am consider as the first batch of PSP Slim buyer. Althought I dont have a PSP Phat to compare the Slim with but I think the screen for Slim is somewhat inferior.
*
Your statement is totally off. The Slim screen is much better than the phat bro.

The below site explains it all. wink.gif

QUOTE(ticke @ Oct 5 2007, 05:07 PM)
what do u mean by inferior? there's nothing inferior about the new screen just a ...bit smaller for me. though the casing looks like cheap plastic...
*
The difference in size for the screen is almost insignificant IMHO.

Maybe the reason you think the faceplate is cheap is becos it isn't dual layer this time for the Slim.

Aiks, that's a shame. It's one of the most original PSP games ever IMHO.

Witty dialogue with a dash of sarcasm and vulgarity thrown in, awesome. thumbup.gif

Nice short review on the crystal case for the PSP Slim..  thumbup.gif

lol, that's too advanced for me already.

It's great that you like it. I will be doing more reviews later on, especially on the av ouput capability for the Slim and other various accessories.

Stay tune. biggrin.gif

Now get a crystal case from me. tongue.gif

Guys, can anyone tell me where can I buy the faceplate for the fat PSP?

Tried to look for sellers at the garage section but couldn't find one.
*
Look no further. ugpm. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(mindkiller6610 @ Oct 11 2007, 02:59 AM)
hey, i believe the crystal case able to be a movie stand as well, if the mechanism is same as the fat one,
one the bottom of the psp, there are 2 hinges to lock the case, pull one to the back so it could be a stand.

it works for the psp fat case, not sure about the slim one..
*
There is only a single hinged plate that is used to lock the front and back into place which can swivel to transform into a 'stand'.

But I would not recommend doing that cos it wasn't designed for that function AFAIK and it might break the hinge or cause the plate to crack. smile.gif
