Wah.. Nonit for that, I think.. tongue.gif I also easily get lost with the changelogs of so many official firmware updates from Sony.

Anyway, refer to my thread, yewkhuay, it's on my signature. Might not be a totally complete & updated guide, though. tongue.gif

^ sorry if u feel offended with my reply. everyone once a noob including me. but dont be a noob forever by being spoon-fed all the time. There's a thread about PSP for beginner that you should read in a 1st place and there's a homebrew thread for firmware question. At least you ask in appropriate thread, dont you think so? wink.gif

Btw, welcome to PSP scene. smile.gif

Hi guys,

Need some oppinion here. If i am posting this in the wrong thread, do guide me from here ok..Thanks..

I am thinking of getting a PSP, particularly for me and my gf. I wanted to know, is now a good time to get a PSP?

I am not so much of an enthuasist in consoles arena but i do heard about some news regarding a new version of PSP coming soon (as soon as September). In this case, would it be better to wait for that one to be released first?

What might be the difference between them (if the rumour is true) and will the release causes the price of current PSP to drop? I am thinking of getting it in the next month and would like to know the best time.

Besides that, what should i look for when buying PSP?Of course, i will be playing original UMD games as well as homebrew ones. I just needed to know the basic neccesity to look out for when buying a PSP. Thanks alot...

One thing i need to clarify on this PSP Lite as called by some of the people. Is it actually the same as the current PSP BUT with additional features? Will it be using the same firmware as what current PSP is using or it will be on different one which means longer waiting time for homebrew games? But in term of other major stuff like battery life, screen quality and size, is there any difference?

Wow..Nice one there.Actually i am waiting for some news regarding the PSP Lite and might only get it by the end of this month probably..

One thing i found confusing, whats the difference between those firmware?and which one is better? For example, you mentioned 3.4OE, 3.51 M33..What the difference between them and which one would you guys take?

Of coz the latest one. I'm not saying the later the better...but this M33 CFW is great.

BTW, i'm still using 3.51 M33-7, not updating it to 3.52 M33-2 yet.
