is it possible to view your average real annualized ROI?

now i can only view absolute ROI

example. Let's say I buy

1. Jan 1k unit 1.000
2. Feb 1k unit 1.001
3. April 2k unit 1.003

Now Jun NAV is 1.005

FSM just calculate ROI as 0.32 % which is the absolute return, without considering when you buy

any option to view the return or annualized return taking into consideration the time you buy?

Does anyone use the "analyze my portfolio" from the "my investment tab" > "analyze my portfolio", then goto the bottom of the page, click on "Annualised Funds Performance".

does the return of the 1 year roughly equal to your IRR?

IMHO, the general statement that IRR is less accurate if the time invested is less than 1 year is due to the fact that there's no guarantee the fund will continue to grow at that rate for the remaining period of that year.

if the IRR is calculated based on a longer period say 3 years where the fund would have gone through some ups and downs then it would paint a more accurate growth rate of the fund.

eg eastsrping bond fund managed to recover some defaulted bond in may (causing a spike in their NAV) which is a one off thing, if you use it in your IRR calculation for a short period of 3 months, the IRR would spike ,but if the IRR is calculated 3 years , it will just increase the IRR by a bit.

so just don't be too excited if the IRR is high if you've invested in a short period.

fsm my and fsm sg both selling different fund,

i think fsm sg need to go singapore to open account and use USD or SGD to buy the fund

while for fsm my , almost all use RM for the fund transaction

my KGF really getting whack for this month, drop almost 10% compare to last month , but Eastspring MY focus is even worse 15% , lucky still have GTF and Eastspring Global leaders to compensate a bit
