greater china only consist of a small percentage of my portfolio
ponzi on the othe hand consist of a big percentage of my portfolio
even as small percentage....the drop in greater china still more than ponzi 2.0
*
The bubble in Shanghai A shares was in the small-mid caps

Blue chips are still fundamentally sound and priced fairly, if not attractively
I quote this from the Schroeder report I linked from FSM recently

Furthermore, Ponzi 2.0 is invested more into Hong Kong-listed "S" shares wink.gif

hmm.gif just curious at your Ponzi 2.0 IRR....dropped by 50%...much bigger than the drops in SSE at about 35%
This IRR dropped to 10%, how much % does the ROI of yr Ponzi 2.0  drops?
*
I don't track ROI, I only track IRR.

And...drop in rate of IRR vs drop in absolute terms...not a fair comparison. Two different things.

hmm.gif assuming one holds a funds for 2 years
ROI is 40% (for easy calculation)ROI 40/2 yrs thus IRR is 20%
if now the ROI is 20% thus the IRR is 10%
thus ROI drops 20%?

is my calculation and assumption corrects?

Still trying to mess around with the placement of ROUND, ROUNDDOWN, but seems like there's always one or two weird transactions which just... have odd decimal sweat.gif

Will try it again next time laugh.gif
*
my experience is CIMB always round down wink.gif

Hmm, that could be the reason of deviation. Round down makes every transaction (with CIMB) appears OK, but other houses like RHB-OSK CMF became not ok sweat.gif

Gonna test more and if confirmed that differences come from different rounding methods per fundhouse, nothing much can be done (too much hassle tongue.gif) but use the manual adjustment
Tested OK thumbup.gif  notworthy.gif
*
I got/once got...
RHB-OSK
CIMB-Principal
Affin Hwang
Eastspring Investments
Pheim
Aberdeen Islamic
Alliance
AmInvestment
Pacific

ONLY CIMB rounds down, the rest all round to nearest 2 decimals

sorry, what do u mean by rounds down?  unsure.gif
*
RM100 / RM1.2050 = 82.98755186721992 units

CIMB-Principal will give u 82.98 units

Whereas other fund houses will give u 82.99 units

Hi guys.. anyone buy from fundsupermart.sg?
whats the difference

Blackrock Asian Tiger Bond A6 USD  vs Blackrock Asian Tiger Bond A3 SGD-H

the only difference i see is funds currency...
*
My rough guess...

The "H" stands for hedged. Means hedged against SGD.

The USD one...u will be exposed to USD fluctuations.
