i've done some acrylic bending in factory, and the heat gun (or hot air gun as what we call it in factory) looks exactly like an oversized hairdryer, should be blowing out hot air @ 200-300c if i remember correctly, blow it at the point u wanna bend for around 30-45 seconds, then u should be able to bend it easily, but it's advisable if u could use a table clamp to hold on to it as the acrylic will get extremely hot, and using a clamp could make ur bending more balanced..

Really lar. U think I'm joking meh? That is a way of molding n bending acrylic. N it's free. Everybody has an oven at home right?

i wouldn't do that... an heated acrylic will release some terrible smell, and if u still wanna use the oven for food heating, think twice.. dunno whether that smell is toxicating or not.. haha.. and erm, if u really do heat it up with oven, wear protective gloves so ur hand won't get burnt because of the heat when u're trying to bend it before it cools down and become hard again..
