AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 is an end product of the merger between Ewido and Grisoft. Ewido Anti-Malware is now AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5

Tested it with other Anti-Spyware programs. WITHOUT the Guard, it is compatible with Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware, A-Squared Free, Bazooka Scanner, SpywareBlaster, NOD32, Avast (Without Guard), AntiVir(Without Guard) and CyberHawk.

This program is OK for amateurs in Anti-spyware as it has minimal settings. For those who like to tweak (like me, LOL), it is quite restrictive.

Cheers!

Thanks for your recommendation. Does it take up much memory usage? Might try it in my home desktop system.

@wongzai
... Well, when I mean WITHOUT Guard, that means there is NO Real-Time Monitoring for spyware et cetera. If you activate the guard, naturally malware will be detected WITHOUT MANUAL SCANNING. Hope you can clear some doubts now. Cheers!

@samurai1337
WITHOUT GUARD, approx 30 MB MEMORY, WITH GUARD, approx 50MB MEMORY.
P.S. I never let it run AUTO, LOL. I only use it as Backup Scanner, as it uses Ewido Scanning Engine(one of the best in AV-Comparatives). So, i guess , it is not that huge after all. Cheers!

Ewido Anti-Malware is no longer available (supported). Assuming you have a legal license on Ewido Anti-Malware (latest version, I forgotten, oops,LOL), you can upgrade to AVG7.5 Anti-Spyware for free. AVG Antivirus, I am not sure. Cheers!

Welcome to all. LOL. It might be quite a sum of memory, but considerin Ewido Scanning Engine to be quite superior, I wouldn't want to miss the bandwagon. LOL. Cheers!
