It's a good read but it actually affects the working people in the US quite badly which is why Congress asked for certain provisions to be included to address the imminent unemployment.

one of the Investment chapters from wikileaks:

An ambitious 12-nation trade accord pushed by President Obama would allow foreign corporations to sue the United States government for actions that undermine their investment “expectations” and hurt their business, according to a classified document.

Trade negotiations are always a secret. And it is a secret for a good reason.

It will benefit Malaysia a lot since we can import items for cheap and since labor is cheaper here, more companies would rather relocate here and export outwards.

The one big problem is that pharmaceutical companies will force their price and destroy all generic drug companies. Which means ridiculous prices for medicine and healthcare is incoming.

He's exaggerating it a bit. The current draft is calling for TPP countries to stop approving generic versions of drugs if the patents of those drugs is yet to be resolved, meaning if there is an ongoing patent suit for a drug company A make vs the generic version company B makes, the countries cannot issue the B drug.

This is indeed bad for us, if not all the other TPP nations so the likelihood of it being the final version is almost zero.

He is only giving one side of the story, which is what many critics of the TPP are doing.
