The 55-200mm VR came out already meh??? I tot just preview only.

Nikon only give us warranty 1year, another 2yrs is by the shop one. I asked last time, they will charge 7-8% extra from the price.

RM 2388 for the price listed by fotokem is on the high $$ side. Maybe because of the warranty??

MAYBE to somebody who knows how to repair loh. Maybe nikon ex-staff or any ex camera technician lor. They might be good too. U'll be surprised.

But some maybe make it worse.

I asked this matter from a shop in Ampang Park near to Maybank. Not the corner one but 3-4 shops near to Maybank, got staircase to underground parking. Might be different to Fotokem. I dun know!!!

Ken Rockwell website stated that 55-200mm priced at 250US so it will be around 8-900 ringgit. So wait till the price stabilise like that. What for give the shop untung so much??? Later u buy then next day the shop throw price then we all sakit hati. Right??? .

Some more i'm gonna burn the shop down if they say no stock. Everytime ask, sure no stock wan. Dunno whether real or not??? Eg, 50mm f1.8. Just my two cents

Bro, I believe that the tripod that have given u is lousy so no point taking the tripod IMHO. Again 1GB is is nothing compare to 2GB card. U can get it only body and kit lens and buy the rest by ur own. Only RM19++.

Then get ur own solid tripod second hand or watsoever and bigger card from computer shop. That's only my opinion, maybe u different than me.

Just got my 18-200mm VR from a merchant in Lowyat.net (Vladimir). Match it with my D40 feel so good, not so heavy anyway.

And the best thing is, I got MADE IN JAPAN version.

Aiyah bro, lazy wanna change lens. One len fits all. Some more I walk walk in Komtar and see Vladimir(to check it out his store only) and tested 18-200mm VR. Fell in love in one glance, after that he say show me Made In Japan at the lens and told me this is limited edition in Msia.

So call my frens in KL and they say mostly 18-200 is Thai made and buy it if Made in Japan. So i bought lor.

Bought it at 2.6k. Thailand made is cheaper by RM50-100.

Really lazy wanna change lens. I got 50mm f/1.8. Very seldom use also. I think if i got 55-200VR, also seldom use since 18-55 is very wide enough.

And get VR if possible for every Nikon lens. If no VR, u will die standing holding the heavy lens n steady at 200mm. Hahahaha

GUESS WHAT, MY LENS IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MY BODY. HAHAHAHAHAHA

Nope. Dun buy without VR. U will suffer wihen low light. Add RM50-100 to get the VR. U will enjoy the VR.

Got it from another forum, they say 11th of May got roughly 15 new lenses mostly prime lens. Maybe ur wish for 50mm f1.8 AFS will come through??/

i believe d40 will not be the last resort. Getting SB600 is much better options i think.

First time i think i charge longer like normal cellphone battery.

Yes it is plug n play for XP n above. SOmething like thumbdrive.
