just bought D40 at bintang maju camera fair at lowyat
packaged with:
2gb sd card nikon brand
screen protector - sony
tripod
nikon case
nikon bag
kenko uv filter

all for rm2210

i managed to persuade them to cancel the cc surcharge, meaning it's a waste of money to be charged that coz it's a big purchase. tell them other places don't charge surcharge, maybe they'll reconsider

should be able to get 2gb card with that price

go to bintang maju and insist on them giving u installment plan without any surcharge, i tried and got it

i got mine for 2210
kit lens, tripod, kenko uv filter, 2gb sdcard, 1 camera bag and 1 bagpack, screen protector
12 months installment no surcharge

if i buy sb400, then later if i upgrade my d40, need a new flash
if i buy sb600, then no need to upgrade flash anymore, quite adequate with it right?

for tomkent, my suggestion is just get the d40, why do u need a 10mpixel if ur a newbie, 6 is good enough, unless u wanna make a poster out of ur travelling photos, use the extra money to get a flash or upgrade lens

changed my mind, decided to get sb400 instead and use the rest of the budget for a 55-200mm VR

i ask what's the price, so he said 599
i'm so lazy to haggle, so i asked 599? 400 cannot?
he said, 400 i buy from u la
so he said 499
i just smile and walk away, the hell with keycolor
later am gonna buy sb400 at other places for 400 and sell to that fella
he thinks malaysian customers are idiots like him, never do research one about the price
