Just to share price & place where I bought my D40 on Saturday morning.

Price RM2,3350 at FotoKem in Mid Val (lower ground floor opposite Chicken Rice Shop).

Package includes D40 Kit, 2GB, tripod, Nikon small bag, extra battery, screen protector. Then managed to talk her into giving me a micro fiber cloth & some printing vouchers. Also bought SB400 flash RM450 and Hoya CIR-Polarising RM88.

Not sure if my flash & Hoya were a good price but am happy that I managed to get the extra battery & 2GB for the package price.

And just to let you know this FotoKem outlet will be open all week till next Saturday (or Sunday, not sure now) and then they'll close for renovation or something for 2 weeks thereabouts. Hope this helps anyone still drooling over the D40!

Does anyone know where there's ready stock of the 55-200 VR? Shashinki can't guarantee delivery within one week and I need it by the 21st.

And has anyone used the Sigma 10-20 HSM with the D40?
