sweat.gif thats pretty much an overkill for me tongue.gif
im just start from scratch about the whole experience.

1) noted will go and survey.
2) i think i dont need that lens sweat.gif
3) i had only Nikon D40 in my mind now, since im still studying and dont have that much money
to invest on this expensive hobby smile.gif

Even though I'm a Nikonian myself! icon_rolleyes.gif maybe you could consider other camera too, Canon, Olympus, Pentax, Sony. They too have great camera. Or maybe you can try look for a Canon 350D or 400D, obviously have the largest market of 2nd hand items and the camera does not limits your lens expendation.

QUOTE(soulfly @ Nov 2 2007, 06:23 PM)
personally i think 10-20mm is more than 'normal' shooting. 18-200mm should be enough already.
*
Sorry bout that, maybe its just me loving wide angle too much! laugh.gif

QUOTE(MR.Shiney @ Nov 2 2007, 06:46 PM)
umm, im sorry.. its not that im lazy. but can you recommend me some other brands?
i picked Nikon D40 because majority of my friends is using the same thing and i've
heard good feedbacks about this camera. and to my eye, its the only camera
that fits into my small wallet tongue.gif

so Nikon D40 is limited to some range of lens? my friend ady using 200mm lens
and she's having trouble keeping up. laugh.gif thanks for the reply dude! thumbup.gif
*
If that's the case, obviously dun think so much, just go for D40. With so much friends having same camera together, you can learn and share your knowledges together and even exchanging lens. Great way to learn photographing! thumbup.gif
Just my 2 cents! icon_rolleyes.gif

well, it aint that easy finding a friend sharing the same interest sweat.gif
i met her by myspace. she's very far away. might share info but
sharing lenses is sweat.gif been using my k800i for shots and pretty
much addicted to it, i wanna take it a step ahead. i've been
viewing alot of pictures and i didnt get tired watching all of them
especially shincan's lolx

appreciate the reply bro, thanks smile.gif

I see, then decision is still yours to make. Just do more research on the camera you're about to buy and see if its really fits you. Good luck in surveying for the camera! icon_rolleyes.gif

I'm not rich too, that's why I ask to save up and buy a better one. No need bought the third party one liao, and be tempted to buy Nikon speedlight, then sell and buy again, lost more! sweat.gif
