it depends on you for which application you want it to be protected?. Meaning when on standby, do you want the app to be active and provide notification, like whatsapp, etc?

Pre-installed Bloadware
may i which which are the pre-installed unnecessary apps that can be uninstall to improve battery life and performance?
Many owners had it removed...I didnt...

Voice command
Sometime, the phone will call someone automatically while i am speaking.

I havent played on this voice command...would let others to comment

Thanks in advance.

BTW, few other things that you want to explore is the fingerprint ID and fingerprint sensor can be used for multiple function like scrolling, going back to previous page, taking pictures, etc

The other thing is the smart key...they are cool as well....I one of the function I use is to take screen snapshot

Hi bro,

Yes the fingerprint ID and Smart Key are brillant.

I really surprise a mid-range chinese brand phone can have so much features, so high spec, so well build.

All this time, I was using Samsung. The Honor 7 build is so much better than my old S3.

I am very happy with my Honor 7, just 1399, saved my thousand if i go for Samsung S7 / Iphone 6.

My next move would be using the Honor 7 for sometime, trade in for Huawei's latest Honor or even higher Mate series in future.

Any idea/comment on the camera?

One of my friend said the camera is good, but upon reading reviews, quite a number of reviewers said the camera spec is good but the software hold back their potential.

And UI itself quite stuttering, with on screen back and home button, user need to setup fingerprint sensor to go back or go homescreen.

Any idea?

for camera..it just normal, update firmware to b130 and u will get Pro Mode which u can adjust all the settings like DSLR,just a mid range camera that suit the price.
UI is okay,i don't really find any issue with it..i like on screen button rather than psychical button.

It's just like every other android out there that doesn't have a physical button, i miss it since nexus 5 but definitely can live without it

What irks me is i can't change the buttons on the nav bar to anything i want, but that's a root xposed feature

I see..nice comment. On the other hand is there any option to dim the screen for night or dark place use? Like my current phone there is option kind of eye protection to dim the screen light.

there's some third party apps for it, i'm using cf.lumen

the dimmest stock setting is still too bright in a dark room at night
