lucky i checked this thread.. was finding replacement and stumbled upon honor 7 and then this.. any other similarly priced/spec phone ka? this seems worth it since i game more

Hello guys.. I would like to ask how come my honor 7 drains battery so bad in standby mode? Especially when im sleeping overnight.. It drops arouns 10-20% per night.. 2nights before it drop 22%.. This morning it drop 13% since 2am to 9am+.. Thats alot of draining.. The cell stanby is the culprit, as it is on the whole time.. Any1 with the samw problem?

i've just done wipe cache partition
n now seems like all push notification runs fine

u on your data or wifi when u sleep? my battery drop not more than 4 percent if internet off.
and remember to close all the apps before u sleep.
download "doze" to help battery life saving.

Just wondering, this Honor 7 has 20mp Sony BSI camera right?. Why ah the experience not as  good as the nexus 6p at 12mp, especially night scenes? perhaps it's me only, just tot anyone else share same findings?

Hey guys,is it just me,or is the double tap to wake feature on this phone a bit iffy? Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work. Hell,sometimes it registers the few first taps but fails to open tje screen. Aftee the second double tap,you can see it that password is tapped already.

Hey guys, if the Waze isn't running in the background, will your Honor 7 still can receive notification from other Waze user such as journey sharing or "Beep Beep"?
Those who have multiple phones with you can you please do a test?
Cause my Honor 7, if the Waze is not in the background, there will be no such notification till the user manually open the Waze app.

and yes... the rear camera does become better after the update

at normal light look ok. but i thick is too bright so cannot see the line.



at low light the line will very easy to see

Guys, need help. My whatsapp and fb messenger's notifications seems to inactive. It's only when I open the apps that I found out I have messages. At most it will just Buzz once but that's it. How do I rectify this in the settings?

I am HTC fans, and I love HTC a lot because of their everything. from King of PDA, become King of Android. that time Samsung still a rubbish. now things changed, Samsung now become like Kia K5, the game changer. HTC no longer the King of Android, even though they think they are. company suffering loses and the phone is no longer innovative enough to attract me. therefore, with the right timing, i needed to source for other brands to replace my M7 and my wife E4g. with weeks of researched, from the youtube reviews, website reviews, forum discussion threads, online comparison until to check them out at physically at store. finally i told myself, i'm not going to spend another 2k to buy a phone anymore. not saying that i cant afford it, but is like having a ferrari to drive in Kampung, what a waste if i cant fully utilise its potential. i am not a gamer, neither my wife, therefore, i locked my target range to mid range. being a smart consumer, i need make my every ringgit as valuable as possible. Redmi Note 3, definitely, but not going to get an imported set. Mi5, too long to wait. Oppo and Vivo? not interested in those brand. Samsung? too common. LG, never think off. Lenovo, in shopping list. but finally, of course the Honor series from Huawei. i chose Honor because 1. meets my expected specification, 2. never use finger print before, wanna try it out, 3. beautiful design, 4. many useful and practical shortcut function. Honor has only 2 variants at the moment, the 7 and the 5X, so, 7 for me and 5X for my wife (she complaints on the screen, too big, still she likes it very much) below is my unboxing photo.
