Just sharing my experience to TS. Just got my ER6N 1 week ago for daily work commuting. Didn't expect it to be so easy to breeze through kl traffic and jam. I upgraded from my old Kawa 150 cc bike and I must say the power and torque is superb and a joy to have. Car used to not let me pass now also move aside automatically.

On the highway or straight road, can easily pull away from traffic with a light twist on the throttle. Never felt so easy to hit 200kmh. My mind was blown the first time and coming from a 2 stroke 150cc torqueless bike.

No regret and very happy I got this bike.

TS, Since you considering the CBR500, do more research before putting in your $$$. For CBR500 I got the feedback from mechanic is quite a number have ignition issue and there were recall in the U.S recently. for oil leak I think. Not sure in MY. So far Yamaha bike are still ok, didn't hear problem with the XJ6 or MT 07. If got the budget go for it. I have no budget for the Yamaha hence I settle for ER6N.
