Interesting thread, never knew there were this many classical music listeners ^^ I listen to many different kinds of music, including classical. But the only problem is, i never remember the names of classical pieces @_@ almost anything(not everything) from mozart, to dvorak ive heard before >_> Does John Williams count? lol he is a classical composer after all =P Oh have you guys heard Fernando Sor's works? Its guitar and theyre brilliant too! i would list a few more classical guitar composers if youd like ^^

I don't know if it's the right place to ask...but I need a cello and I was quoted RM 1600 - 1800 for a Chinese factory-made one and RM 5000 for a Chinese handmade cello.
Aren't the prices a little steep for Chinese cellos? 'Cause I saw the prices on websites and they only range from USD$175-250 for a Chinese one and c'mon, we're nearer to China, surely delivery & insurance don't cost as much?
Anyone got expertise on buying instruments?
