intraday. scalping to some ppl is under 10 pips.

started with usd250-300, then he set and went for holiday, swing for almost 1-2 weeks, come back...usd 4xx-500, then set round 2, then equity up to usd 7xx and 3rd round then 9xx, but the last few weeks usd drop like hell mah kan so he lost back equity to usd 7xx..last week (thurs-fri) he set another trade, from 7xx, float till 350usd (wed afternoon), then we went for movie at midnight on wed, before the movie start, he showed me got one tp liao usd100, so the floating supposedly 250 but at that time 350usd. after the movie ended, his equity floating to around usd1200 d. a short span of less than 3 mths. just using fibo, trendline, MA, and stoch only, nthg else. dont have any fancy indicators. he has used those alot before but now no more, just the basics...
so can say is from usd300, now usd 1200 d...not trying to be ambitious but the progress is looking very solid...his lot size increase proportionally with equity from 0.01 to 0.03 now

i'm using ILQ. anyone hear anything good or bad about this broker before?

do u guys only play specific or certain pairs or u just hantam all pairs lol

holding for weeks and end up 300 become 500, the equity may dip to 150 at times maybe.

looks like risking too much to me.

AFAIK, there is no trade or technique that is 100% win , saying this, there is no 0 dip. IMHO, sure have SL one...as long as the RRR is 2-5:1 i think is decent

Playing even 0.03 with 1 position floating... imagine need usd300 .. he has to TP 1000pips..

sizing not realistic..

what pair is he playing?

lol if he continues the way he trade he might burst his account, just like previous forumers stated, too risky for my cup of tea.

try looking for opportunities in all pairs and go ahead when you get the confirmation... focusing only on few pair might take some time for the correct opportunities.. but it will not matter which or how many pairs to trade once you have a proper working strategy...

WTA, let say 3:1 RR, if TP 30pips then the SL is 10pips right?
10pips SL can easily be taken out by market and result a loss.

let say a more realistic SL 50Pips, then TP will be 150Pips, not easy to achieve.
this one i always puzzled.

yea i also fear that , thats why i keep tell anyone , your'new' teknik try at least 6mths-12mths can consistently win pip then baru la solid, but in so far, i see he is now the most consistent (every weekly, completing 3rd mth soon), result oriented (equity increase) and inspiring among all our newbies trading...personally, really my own inspiration la...

from some article i read, your sl is not supposed to be how much u can take lost but how much pip before the market show u that ur setup is wrong.

150pips, use intraday or swing lo or gold

which part is the way he trade is 'risky'?

His growth is not realistic? His allocation per trade very high?

ic. ok. but we're just discussing ok.

the reason why im sharing this is i want to compare what i see, fact, to other ppl knowledge and experience if how my fren trade (in my argument) is good enough strategy or not so i can benefit from your perspective vs mine



the equity maybe arguable la but im telling is really fact.

he gains high pips win ,imo, because he trades all pairs...we call him king of pairs because he has 10-20 pairs w 10-20 po , at any time...so reverse calculate the high pip wins is not unrealistic, roughly 100-200pp /pair (?) 0.01 as starting and gradually proportionately increase, i don see this as high allocation per trade

see which country currency is strong or weak, trade that currency lo.

if say JPY is strong, then look to sell U/J, G/J, A/J, N/J, C/J pairs. (just my 2 cents )
