Just want to ask some off topic question. We trade forex we use IB. We trade stock/share we open CDS account. Then how about those people that trade foreign stock/shares?

Go see your CDS account, there's a foreign stock section. Which u can buy and sell using USD.. Then the local broker will covert the USD:RM and u pay to them use RM

So you mean we dont need to open foreign bank account to trade e.g. US stock/shares?

actually no need if your local broker do offer foreign stock exchange. if I'm not mistaken CIMB does offer
