does the airbags indicator lights up when keyswitch is at acc position ?

cel is lights up when keyswitch is at acc position, it doesn't turn off until the engine started. is it required to wait for the cel to switch off before we start the engine ?

anyone using the add-on brake lock alarm module, any recommendation ?
