Hey,

My car buzzer inside the engine bay has been buzzing non-stop since last night. If I turn off the key, after about 30secs, the buzzer starts singing. B7t if I turn the key to on then it will off. No CEL or any other warning sign.

Any idea what could cause this? Also, will it harm the alarm system if I just pull the plug off that goddam buzzer?

just pull off the plug of the buzzer only. Your alarm will still function, no worries.

Thanks bro.

I forgot to mention, last night was heavy rain on highway. I have a feeling that contributed to the alarm

Your door lock buzzer kena water....that's why you can remove to dry it then use hair dryer to dry the inside...happen to mine before...

Sorry late. Buzy raya-ing and all. It wasn't the buzzer but water caught on electrical connector somewhere near the ground. Anyway the problem kinda corrected itself. I just drove around for a day, and then next day it became okay. I ought to waterproof the connectors someday.
