Happened to my VIOS also the 1st day I went collect car

Seeing the tered description reminds me of the behaviour of a certain car club tered which one of our member has joined recently.

I understand some old-timers of a particular car club tered would have developed their own ways of bouncing banter among each other and their own "language" and inside jokes. But to expect a newcomer to jump in and immediately blend in is asking too much, and when said newcomer fails to differentiate friendly banter and actual trolling, he gets bashed for being either too thick or too lansi.

The Gaga tered has it's share of tight-knit old-timers, but even though some are chronic trollers, there are enough of us that are friendly enough to make newcomers feel welcomed by greeting them and answering their questions. Unfortunately this is more than I can say for that other car club tered.

Expressing your "tightknitness" is one thing, but being rude is just being rude. Nobody ask you to roll out the red carpet but there is no need for douchebaggery also.

I'm glad the Gaga tered members are still largely congenial to other forumers despite being owners of the cheapest Proton car. davidke20 you are always welcomed in this tered despite your unhealthy obsession with the godcar.

Bros, my BLM steering rack bocor already. Need to top up the power steering fluid. Any idea how much the replacement will cost and can recommend a good workshop. By the way, this is 2008 model.

ASX is convertible SUV. Those who kompare it with a VIOS is making no sense.

changing cvt oil and some lapsap fluid .... cost almost rm600 inclusive gst...

Proton told me the TCU is short circuit. They told me the price is about 2480 for TCU.
They blame me for changing the battery while my car engine was switch off. Battery changing need to be done while car engine is running to avoid ecu or tcu form being damage... Do you believe that?

That's about the worst advice I've ever seen. What will cause massive damage is to connect a battery in reverse but even then most equipment will have simple diodes to protect against that issue, the damage from that often gets confined to the fuse and alternator.
Something simple to try is just turn on your lights and disconnect the battery, then go away relax have a beer or coffee and slowly wander back turn off the lights and reconnect the battery, and hope things have magically cured themselves. The lights are to make sure any stray volts are drained from the car.

Edit: whoops shouldn't have said beer, it may be culturally a no-no. Sorry.

The rear brake master cylinders are made by Bosch and they were crappy. very prone to stuck. lol

The canister purge valve (CPV) is made by Bosch and they were prone to go TAK TAK TAK TAK TAK. lol
