Just a normal steering-pedal lock.

Is the swift lock steering not good enough?

Do u think its ok to mod a 12 year old car? Or should just buy new car?

I hve changed my normal swift to swiftsport bodykit..add spoiler ever since day 1
Lately i just changed the radio for it to have bluetooth
I was thinking maybe to change rim or paint the car

Safety is always just additional precaution/deterrent. Std steering lock is already well known by every car thief of how to break it. Actually my common steering pedal lock is also easy to break. The best is put as many safety measures as you can, steering locks, pedal locks, even some hidden kill switch or system password like Clifford Black Jax. It's all comes down to you, how secure you feel about your car.

So far for my Swift I have 2 additional locks actually, one pedal to steering and another is steering to dashboard. Both are common locks but if someone wants to steal mine then he will see that he needs to break 2 more additional locks hence might increase his risk. Hopefully that's enough to deter them from choosing my car and instead steal other people's car which don't have those additional locks. It's all a game of risk.

Invest in safety and security is better. But up to you, got budget then up to your preference. A 12 years old car need to take care on its wear and tear part and do the necessary replacement first.

Agree .i been in fb and see so many cars stolen even those high techs cars hence my concern

Tq for the info. Been using the car for long time and i thought the steering lock is good enough. And even if the car can start without keys..the car will off on its own after few metre but im sure its hackable now. How bout gps?

Pedal lock is good but the hassle to go down and unlock it might be an issue as my parents might got back pain
But u mention got steering to pedal..gonna look into it

So far i hve changed a few..like absorber compressor bearing all those internal thingy..im also looking to changed the exterior but ya so far i think the car aged well but quite worried to change too much because already more than 10 years
