Me. Do u want compare other branches? I believe each might have different gifts smile.gif

Not sure, haven't thought about that yet. But so far I was offered 8.5k rebate, full tank petrol and a smartag.
How was your experience with them? Servicing etc?

I was purchasing last few cbu units there. Assume you have best rebate already, just hook up any SA that u ok with.

No go back there already cos i stay far away, service in other SC.

Ah..I see...I wonder how is the CKD built quality lol.

Placed the booking today after test driving it biggrin.gif
GLX Bayside blue.

Just love the way it looks and drives, didn't need much reasoning to justify the purchase.

Hi mate, this offer is for which Swift model / what year? I'm kinda torn between this or Ford Fiesta. Eyeing the GL or GLX model now.
*
Only for Swift GLX I was told. Well I am only interested with the GLX so I didn't bother to ask the other trims.
Heard from the sales personnel that the car will be ready for collection some time around next week smile.gif

I had the same dilemma as yours. Ford Fiesta is having a great sales for the Fiesta for 15k discount, but 2014 manufactured car. But then again..I want a secondary car that is reliable and somewhat fun to drive. I am already driving a continental sedan and I don't need another continental car that require constant attention at the workshop (lol).

There is only a few thousands diff between GL and GLX, so when you get term loans the diff became negligible. So I took the GLX.

I wonder if all Suzuki Swift paint job is as bad as in the picture?  Or is it me got the imperfect paint job here? Try to zoom into the picture and have a closer look at the side of the bonnet, very disappointed though..

The picture you show is pretty damn blur, but is that orange peel that you are complaining about?

Thanks for the response. Wasnt considering Swift at first but Dad really loves the car and urged me to buy it. Even offered a part-time exchange with his car if I buy it sweat.gif

Was more keen on the Fiesta tbh but the clutch problem is a killer. Wouldnt want to be car-less for a problem I knew exist prior to buying it. Gotta be prepared for that if I ever choose that path..

So if I am not mistaken, 74k-ish otr retail price minus 8.5k rebate is the price that you got? Not bad! That forks out to be a big difference compared to Fiesta's price even after 15k rebate.
*
Yep correct. If the Fiesta has the conventional AT then I would consider that. But man, Dry clutch DSG, don't play play unless you have a backup car. So for my case is, I want a backup/secondary car where I can use when I go pasar malam or just go to the Tesco for a quick grocery shopping. And hell I want it to be as conventional and as simple as possible when it comes to the Engine and Transmission.

Yeah 68k OTR. Metallic add RM400. A lot of freebies including a DVR, 5mil tints smartag etc. But iinm can be even cheaper if you forego those freebies.

Hmm I dont think the picture is blur but its the texture of the paint job itself, or maybe you need to reload the picture.
Yea, the orange peel texture, certain parts of the car paint are like that, especially the side door. Do you have the same issue?
*
I have yet to get my car but I will be sure to crank up my eagle eye level when I take the car from the dealer.
Unfortunately orange peel is rather common nowaday. Even my brand new BMW F30 also has this issue. Mostly corrected while I had the car coated by Nanolex though.

Isnt it unethical for them to produce such quality of work while we paid for it even though it is very common nowadays?  Good luck to you and hope to hear good news from you when you get your car smile.gif
I will definitely complain to the SC whenever doing my 1st 1k km service, and see what they can do about it.
*
I think you should complaint to your salesman now, shoot him a message on whatsapp or whatever, make sure he is known of your issue. If you complain only when you go for your 1k service, they can't really do anything also lol, delay delay delay.

But I suppose if they are responsible then they will arrange a polishing for your car hopefully. And really really hope that the polisher will be good and not some lousy one that induce swirls and hologram on your clearcoat lol.

Btw, if you just got your car, do consider coating your new car. It's worth it imo.

Maybe your  area have nice road
*
Hmm well primarily around PJ/KL/Kepong/Sg.Buloh area. I mean I'm not an expert on that, but as an ordinary driver, it feels alright for me. Of course I didn't do any crazy stuff like high speed cornering so I wouldn't know lol
