Just back from Merrah. First time in a long time the atmosphere at Merrah has been all groans and moans instead of cheers. sad.gif

Chill guys.

Just take the fact that these kiddos have to come here and troll to grab your attention as a compliment to your postings. Since no one ever pays attention or bothers about the garbage that they post in their own sh*tty thread they are left with no option but to post here in order to get you to read it.

They remind me of my time when I visited a strip club when I was in Melbourne. They remind me of those old, less popular strippers who you wouldn't even give a look at and they had to literally shove their asses into your faces in order to grab your attention. But even with their asses literally a millimeter from your faces, you still wouldn't even bother throwing a dollar bill.

Anyway, like I said earlier, kudos to West Ham. They came to play and win and boy did they mean it. Credit where credit is due, well played to them and deserved all 3 points.

As for us, pretty much back to the drawing board, I read somewhere before the game that a pundit predicted West Ham would cause us plenty of problems simply due to their way superior fitness and sharpness levels. Including their Europa qualifiers they would have a combined 12 games of competitive and pre-season football leading up to this match so they are pretty much at peak condition and it really showed. We were second best throughout physically in every department and their players looked quicker to every ball. Its up to Arsene now to try and address this but I can't blame him at all for the loss today. The players were simply outplayed.

Palace away next. Won't be easy, but hopefully we will start clicking again by then and some good news on the transfer front. COYG!

Congratulations Man Utd, BPL Champions 15/16.

The main focus for Arsenal now is not getting relegated.

On a side note what a difference Alexis has made to our attack. His off the ball movement is absolutely fantastic and the pressure he puts on the palace defenders is just superb.

Ramsey and Cazorla has been really poor and apart from the goal Giroud has been atrocious. Ozil has been okay and Alexis a mixed bag. We need to improve in midfield if we are to win this.

Compare to Ospina's last season vs Cech's preseason+2epl games, which GK is ur choice?

I'd pick Ospina.
*
I don't know man. Ospina was really really poor in the last 6 games or so towards the end of last season which cost us second place.

I would still go for Cech, for now

who score first goal for us that day in front ah?
*
Whilst I applaud he did brilliantly to score the goal he was poor throughout the match.

Too many unnecessary flicks which over complicated our buildup when a simple pass or lay off would've suffice which resulted in break downs or lost possession.

Then again it's still early days.

Benzema will be a bonus but even if we don't sign him I am pretty contented with Giroud, Walcott and Welbeck as our strikers.

not many teams can boast about using revenue money and be competitive.

without those money we wouldn't have see Chelsea, Man City or other owner dependent clubs challenging for honors.

anyway that's what happening in the world of football n we have to accept it n prepare for it.
*
Exactly, in a way it was good for the league as well else the BPL would've been like La Liga where you can predict the two teams at the top every year. At least for the BPL there is a hint of unpredictability of where teams will finish until the matches are being played.

Oil money and revenue money is still money.

At the end of the day whether you work and earn 1 million or hit the lottery and get the 1 million to buy and build a 1 million house, it doesn't matter, the house is still being bought and built using 1 million.

Same as the league. You spent 200 mill and win the league, whether its using revenue money or oil money at the end of the day, you still won the league spending 200 mill. whistling.gif
