This morning I reply Y to port from maxis to celcom, then maxis counter offer me with the rm46 plan:
- talkmore 28 (RM28) - 200 mins call/ 200 sms
- 3GB data (RM18), ori price RM58
- valid for 1 year only, and 1 year contract.
Before you apply for the MNP, are you using Maxis postpaid or Hotlink?

No wonder you got that package. sweat.gif
I want that package too, grew tired of Celcom not getting coverage at home & at the office. doh.gif

Before I registered Celcom's First Basic 38, I've been using Hotlink for more than 5 years.
When I was using Hotlink, the coverage is very good where I've never lost a single bar in both at home & at the office. Internet speed is very fast too.
But now that I'm using Celcom, the coverage is really bad. Sometimes I'm getting full bars, sometimes completely disconnected. Internet speed is also very very low. shakehead.gif

At first I thought it was caused by my phone.
Then I plug the sim card to my tablet, same issue. doh.gif

Same here Maxis postpaid.
In my case, I called 123 first to request change to the RM46 plan but 123 buat dunno only. Said no such plan.
So I proceeded to port over to Celcom first basic 38 and replied Y to confirm MNP at 3.40pm today. Around 5pm Maxis called and counter offer RM46 plan, I accepted and got the new plan activated in 10mins.

So far so good, I'm satisfied with it. You can even carry forward the unused data to the next month as well.

carry forward the unused data??? means all the data that i cannot finish or got a limit??? how is the coverage???
*
You can only carry forward maximum 3GB to the next month. For example, if you have 1GB left for this month, it will be added to the next month, so it will be 3GB + 1GB = 4GB, you get 4GB on the next month.

The coverage is good, most places have 4G.

No time for you consider too much, the promo will end at 16 july. You can try to port to the celcom first,if your place is not good then only change to other telco.
Or go to buy a prepaid card to test.

I wonder how beneficial y will be, because I'm pretty sure these telcos would not let us get the benefit for long, until they pull it off one by one.
