We're not talking about luck here. I know I know. When you are unlucky, you get a lemon unit. When you are lucky, your laptop becomes super reliable for 10 years and above.
But the problem now is that....  my own Lenovo laptop and my friends' Lenovo laptops are all becoming faulty after 1 year. Some of the laptops could not even last up to 6 months.

Problem that I encounter is in such a way that the laptop overheats, and occasionally shuts down. It gets severe this week, in which the laptop shuts down after 5 minutes of usage, and the laptop is super hot. I already sent to computer shops to reapply thermal paste and do a thorough cleaning, but still the problem occurs. Same goes to my friends' Lenovo laptops, they get BSOD while gaming. Temperature often goes above 95 degree no matter how we clean the inside of the laptop.
I suggest you to avoid Lenovo brand. And ofcourse, based on my personal experience, the most reliable laptop brand goes to ACER. I owned around 3 Acer laptops previously but I sold all 3 of them cause they couldn't meet my gaming needs after few years, now I regret it ofcourse. Those 3 Acer laptops have got no problems so far, I sold them off just because the graphics cards are weak for newer generation games.
Again, please avoid Lenovo.

Probably mine is a 14 inch packed with a Core i7, it could be the cause of the overheats.
