Just wonder, are those sofa (2+3 seaters) with price range from RM1k-RM1.5k durable? Say at least last for 5 years with no major tear and wear?

QUOTE(sonerin @ Dec 1 2015, 09:24 PM) But at least can last for few years, say 5 years?QUOTE(MonGJiHyo @ Dec 1 2015, 09:40 PM) IMO, buying furniture is for long term purpose/usage.. definitely not going to change furniture in a short period of time, say for example every 2 years! A good furniture (good quality) must at least can be used for 10 years.. Eventually, it's still depends on individual choices & budgets! Price vs quality, and the problem is limited budget. The house is mean for my parent, as I plan to get another house in 3 years time.Sigh.. why so expensive .... |

QUOTE(ck2chan @ Dec 2 2015, 01:04 AM) If your parents don't mind on the quality, for lower price you can look around Living Index, HomePro or Courts or Chan Furniture or Perabot Cempaka or other furniture shop. My old house sofa is old fashion, definitely not the kind of sofa that we can find nwadays. It's 20yrs+ but still okok to use. I'm sure there's option for any budget. A sofa bed can cost less than 2k. I may downgrade my expectation from 2+3 seaters to those L-shape 3 seaters while maintaining the same budget. So with this, may be I can get something better? my initial thought is to get the furniture from those type of shops too, as my budget definitely cant go for branded. Just wonder, how wonder long can they last, hopefully wont spoiled within 2-3 years Just wonder, is sofa bed quality will be better than the normal sofa? Tot their price normally higher, so giving the same price, the sofa bed will some of sort lower quality than sofa? |

QUOTE(PJusa @ Dec 2 2015, 08:15 AM) one sofa for 2k is definitely more of an option which will last a couple of years than a 3+2 combo. if you want to have cheap(er) and decent quality the easiest way is to head over to IKEA and buy he MID-range. If you buy the cheapest one you also get junk (albeit better junk than courts). The mid and high range of IKEA is actually of extremely good quality for the money you spend. also skip leather and opt for fabric to reduce cost. I see.. even PU leather is more expensive fabric?? Fabric is cheaper cos harder to take care?QUOTE(loumou @ Dec 2 2015, 06:51 PM) here are some latest sofa to share with you guys If got prices as well then easier.. haha...for more info kindly visit our fb page : https://www.facebook.com/Hoikongfurniture This post has been edited by WahBiang: Dec 2 2015, 09:00 PM |

QUOTE(PJusa @ Dec 2 2015, 09:52 PM) fabric is cheaper. that's all. actually fabric is not hard to maintain. whats hard to maintain (crack etc) is PU and cheap / low quality leather. you might be better off with a good fabric. With my tight budget, maybe fabric is better option. still undecided whether to go for 3 seaters, L shape or those 2+3 seaters... got more furniture other than sofa to think of.. |
