Actually this is the unfair policy in Malaysia.Not only maxis celcom digi also like this.I think the problem is not at Maxis side.You should asked the authorized dealer change for you.
When they ask you go maxis centre mean it will claim warranty.Maxis Centre only can let you claim warranty instead change a new unit for you.
The phone is signed with the authorized dealer so it should be change by the authorized dealer.They kick the ball to Maxis Centre Danga Bay.
Claim warranty is quite fast,I think within 1~2 week.But are you know your phone will not be new?It is a refurbished iphone mean a phone who claim by others and apple fix the problem and change a new battery and external cover.Of course without the white box.
The only way to prevent the policy is buy directly from apple online store.
Hopefully can hear the good news from maxis for your problem.
May I know which dealer you sign the iphone?
