Dang with the Note5 out, my urge to get the Note 4/Edge is growing. The official Malaysian model uses which chipset? Exynos or SnapDragon for both?

note edge is snapdragon 805

Ah alright thanks man. For a general user (maybe root but no custom roms) which would be a safe bet; Exynos or Snapdragon? The 805 got no overheating like the 810 right?

One interface is black (kitkat) one is white (Lollipop). And lollipop give you very nice feature: head up notification which cannot disable one.....Anytime your message from 2nd girl friend will pop up in front of you while you are reading the phone with your wife.

Hahaha damn that sounds more like a bug than a feature to me hahaha. Aside from color scheme, nothing major right? The way i see it KitKat seems more stable on most devices; my Nexus 7 was smooth with KitKat but when i updated to Lollipop it lagged so bad..

i have the wooden theme installed on my bronze note 4. Overall satisfied with it. Precise cutout and it doesnt peel off.Make sure you follow the video instruction when applying though.I got the sides light wood and back mahogany.Apparently the sides matches my motimo leather case nicely  thumbup.gif here's pic
Lazy to remove the phone from the case so no pic for the back.I did post some way back in this thread, you may search for it.

youll change your mind after you see the price lol. I dared to order cause it was a treat tongue.gif

but overall i must say it does live up to the price. Not your typical pu leather case that will go loose after some time. This one offers full protection.

Wow looks a lot nicer than i thought. Saw a hands on video and it looks great. For me, when it comes to cases like these (high quality wallet cases), i don't mind spending a little bit more cause the function and quality makes the purchase worth it. If i had a Note 4 i would totally buy it. Now I'm contemplating between the Note 4 and the Z5 Compact. Decisions decisions..

you'll save more if you go with the z5 since they dont have option for xperia models for the wallet case  tongue.gif

Haha if i get the Z5 Compact i definitely won't get a wallet case like this. Kena water habis man hahah. I'll most probably use a hard case or something. If big phones like Note 4, iPhone 6 (which i'm using now) then i'll buy high quality wallet cases. Now i'm using Pad & Quill Little Pocket Book for my iPhone. If Note 4 i'll definitely buy this Mitimo case. Wonder if they have one for the Note 4 Edge..

It all comes down to what u want .... Z5 Compact and Note 4 is so big difference , 4.6" vs 5.7 " , FHD vs QHD , 2G RAM vs 3G , etc ..... I doubt is hard decision to make if u can narrow down to what size you're suitable with
*
Hmm that's the thing; i plan to make this Android phone my backup/second phone. I definitely like the large screen estate of the Note 4 as well as it's build quality but the Z5 Compact seems like a good holiday phone where it's small and waterproof. So despite the varying sizes, both seems to fit my general need (general want actually hahah). I have to decide between a big screen which can satisfy my multimedia entertainment or a small all rounder waterproof phone that's easy to pocket and handle

hey guys i've been reading here and there that Android devices tend to slow down / lag after a year of usage. if it does indeed happen, what would one need to do to overcome it? would formatting it (factory reset) be enough? or still must use custom ROM?
