Is it just me or the Note 4 is still that expensive?

Yesterday I went to my local phone shop to check on Note 4's price, and the price is still at Rm2100 range.

Dear all notes 4 user,

Does anyone encounter this issues when taking pictures at the dim or darker place.. the pictures have pinky line keep flash at whole screen .. any solution for that? pls help thank you.. have a nice day

Note4 as far as i know doesn't has overheating issue. I am now on my 3rd unit n my son's Spore Snapdragon set doesn't has such problems
only the S6 series had such problems

Stability test, Temperature test... Android 5.0.1.
Four A57 core will throttle down to 1.0-1.4GHz when CPU temperature reach 92-94 'C, never see A53 core throttle down. (This is the reason Benchmark score lower than usual some time.)
CPU temperature cool down rapidly to ~45'C when I stop the Stability Test App.



Geekbench Battery test:
Flight mode, Manual Brightness 5%.

First set bought to test. Than upgraded to Mate 7
Bought again after few days helping out my friend setup his - I missed the S Pen
Sold it off after I decided to fund for the new MacBook. I had 3 other smartphones with me than ( Mate7, K3 Note, LG G4)
3rd set given to me by my friend free as he had gone on to test other phones. This friend of mine changes phone every 1-2 months and he is freaking rich !
As said before, Note4 remains my next favorite phablet after Mate7

Buy from shop sure 2k onwards la. They also need to pay rent ma.

Buy from end user, can get 1.8 or so.

Note 4's value still remains vs s6.

so what the the things that made Mate 7 ur favorite phablet over the Note 4?

Will K3 be a good phone in case I wanna change from Note4? Thinking to downgrade as I've lost passion on high end phone.

Its bigger display ( 6 inches) and unbelievable battery life ( 8 to 10 hours SOT). Is equally as smooth and had much lesser bloatware vs Samsung. Is the best 6 incher I had used vs my ex Nexus 6, LG G Pro2, XZU, Mega 6.3 etc
To date is the coolest ( operating temp) smartphone I had used

It is as I said before, for its asking price is simply unbelievable in its performance. Only downside is its weaker camera

Nice review, on top of all, camera is quite important to me as I'm more into point n shoot each time I wanna take photo. K3 seem not up to my expectation. Other than that, pretty much complete package.

had to LOL reading that bit...

anyway, i'm watching this thread as i might have to start looking for my note 2 replacement soon. still want something with pen since i love it. so... looks like it'll still be note for me. just maybe not note 5. need to be budget conscious.

lumia 950XL is probably something i'll be watching out for as well... just to see what will turn up.

same thought as u. camera not up to expectation. If not, would hv bought it. With this budget, quite impossible to get something like K3 note plus a good camera.

Hi guys...i cant open my FB via app and internet browser on my Note 4 for the past 1-2 weeks when I'm using my phone internet line (Celcom)...
theres always "no internet connection" ....weird that other apps and websites are all good n fast. ..
When connected to other wifi...all is good also...hmmm...anyone having the same issue before...
Does this have something to do with the phone? Because when i switched on the "hotspot" on my Note 4...other users that are connected to my hotspot can still open their fb app normally...need help ~~

Asus Zenfone 2. Price wise, not as cheap as K3 but camera is comparable to N4, in fact better for low light
