Alpha the best between skinomi and otterbox . Totally no halo but no note , it's slightly smaller , just exactly where your display is and nothing wider . Maybe that's y no halo since most go slightly wider than the display . Havent tried Zagg

Just wondering why izzit sony z3 2nd price still expansive compare to this phone.. Izzit something wrong with this phone or sony product is just pure overated.....?

hmm already unroot using supersu and OTA still said my device status is custom
even use the kies update also said my firmware is latest which was BOE1 (malaysia)

just updated to 5.1.1, is gaming performance improved as well?

although everything seems smooth placebo effect perhaps?

if my gaming rig is still here,would do the same with 3d mark and pc vantage.

but for phones,I'd rather test directly with the games I usually played, injustice and mortal kombat x

it really does improve the overall performance,though not by a large margin,but still an improvement nonetheless. example, when a lot of particles or fire/water in the background in game,before 5.1.1,it lags like hell, but now,not so terrible

but still,no other issues found just yet,I guess it's a really good update for those yet tp root their phone,just like me

finally... my phone has been so laggy recently...

Use Odin 3.10 .... Earlier Odin quite prone to fail to flash even when it shows success . Untick auto-reboot in "option" for Odin 3.10 .... Once u flash and success , remove batt and boot into recovery via hardware button

I always consistently failed using Odin version above 3.06 to 3.10 . I had no idea what is the problem. It was always like that since Windows 8, 8.1 and now Windows 10 on my Sony Vaio notebook
So I always use back older version 1.87 and had always been successful flashing recovery, root files, full firmware up till Note4
My present Note 5 on Windows 10 I had failed even flashing TWRP and customized rooted kernel !! I had no other Windows PC to test on the Note 5. So my Note 5 is still in its stock unrooted state !

I'm using 3.10.7, going to try your method
Didn't know need to off auto reboot, later report back result
