QUOTE(rapple @ Jan 21 2016, 03:36 PM) Like EPF relief. But RM14.75 is the maximum deduction for SOCSO... so we can claim RM177 Tax Relief onlyYou claim the portion that employer deduct to pay to Sosco. But then the maximum deduction from Socso table is RM14.75 per month x 12 = RM177 per year. Means they encourage us to contribute more?? |

QUOTE(adele123 @ Apr 3 2016, 10:25 PM) use efiling in english. you will find that it makes sense. Follow what's written on the Statement send by the Insurance. Don't make assumption.question... the medical insurance part... say my premium is 800... but including gst it will be 848. 1) so the tax relief part is 848 or 800? (btw, the statement that the insurance company sent points to 800 for medical premium) say i contributed 1000 last year to prs. including the annual fee of 8.48, it will be 1008.48. 2) so tax relief under prs is 1008 or 1000? In case (1), put RM800 only. For case (2), put RM1000 only. |

Does this mean if I put part of my salary into Petrol Allowance (RM500 per month), I could save RM6000 in taxes, right ? |
