yeah, there is a way to resubmit or correct section that you made a mistake. but i never do that before, so i cant share my experience with you.

yeah, back in my days a trainee... i waited 30 to 60 min to speak to an officer, and there were once i got scold becoz its their lunch time. but they improved a lot since theres cust service now compare to last time.

you can try to email them, it might take weeks if not months to get a reply but they will reply you.

What kind of answer are you expecting? Just schedule the audit session and clarify for the audit reason.

Few yrars ago. I was asked to go present receipts to lhdn before they can approve stated overpaid amount ..while there, the officer ask me to go do efilling instead of manuall submission. He said for efiiling, lhdn will do refund 1st before audit. While for manual filling, is audit b4 refund......

Just to correct some of your statement(basically are right) :
manual input, audit before refund.
e-filing, refund and randomly being pick for audit.
Both ways also you shall not over claim or claim wrongly as this will lead them to audit you.

Thank you for the sharing. This is just my second year of doing income tax, and i done it through e-filing while getting assistance from the officer at LHDN. Guess, i'll just have to schedule a session.

If during 2015 i work till november and i start anoher job in november, should i file 2 of the income tax? sorry for the noob question as this is my 1st time.. =P

Good day all sifus,


No sure if this is the right forum to ask and sorry if I posted wrongly. A relative of mine is seeking my help to fill in the BE form, his wife is a recovered cancer patient but every now and then she need to go to specialist for examination and diagnosis for any re-occurrence. Can those medical bill amount use for tax relief under F6 (Perbelanjaan perubatan bagi penyakit sukar diubati)? Thanks!

guys.... just checking ... we can put in the figure if we are paying for our parents, we will be lpacing the amount here right ?

Perbelanjaan rawatan perubatan, keperluan khas dan penjaga untuk ibu bapa

How about children ? if we are paying for medical fee for children... is there any allocation for these amount too ?

Paying for what? If you're for their medical expenses, special need or hiring a care taker, then you can put the figure. If you're paying for monthly normal allowance, you can file it next year under special provision from Budget 2016.
