Submitted on 8th March, tax excess still not approved
Sent out mails and chat but no replied, called the branch but no one answer.
Already 4th week in the waiting. Anyone have similar experience?
*
Yes, exactly the same. Submitted on the 8th of March as well.

Last year, "bayaran balik" was within 10 days of "taksiran disifatkan". However, for this year, "taksiran disifatkan" is shown as 8th of March, and no update since then.

Hello! If my parents got 1 medical bill of RM20K in 1 receipt, can I use the same receipt to claim for both my sibling and I for the RM8K relief each? Total up will be RM16K so it's less than rm20k.
*
With the proof as shared by previous user, you can. If memang one person paid but now wanna split for tax purposes, hard to proof and can get into trouble. Not worth it leh

Guys, let's say there is a medical treatment for my spouse, however I made the payment. The hospital claims that due to a system limitation, the "patient name" and "payor" has to be the same, i.e. my spouse.

However, the payment comes from my bank account / credit card (as captured on the official receipt).

Will there be any issue for me making this claim when I file my taxes?

Is the medical treatment for serious diseases?
*
Yes, it fits the criteria of the claim, only thing is my spouse name is on the Official Receipt due to the "system limitation" as quoted by the hospital staff. The payment details on the receipt match my account number.

Will this be something the LHDN will accept, in the event of an audit? Of course, I will keep the bank account / credit card statement in the event of an audit in the future.

So mean i buy tablet this year, and pc
Can total up to claim on 2500+2500?
Just pc, monitor cannot right?
Example tablet 1000, pc 3500, mean i can fill up 4500?
*
Yes, look at the LHDN PDF that explains the tax relief in detail with examples. You can "split" electronic gadgets between the two RM2,500 categories so long as in total you don't claim more than rm5.0k

hmm...for some reason my PCB for Dec 2022 is not accounted for in my Ledger. Jan 2023 PCB already in. So for year 2022 my total for PCB is less Dec month. I hope its just some delay and not missing entirely. Anyone experience late PCB before?
*
Damn, mine even for Dec 22 still not showing. Jan 23 also none. How come?

Notice PERKESO limit this year change from RM250 to RM350, and under my EA PERKESO increased to more than RM350, compared to last year RM237.

How about you all?
*
How is it possible to get more than rm350? The cap is at rm24.75 x 12 which is rm297...but not possible to reach that since the cap was raised only in Sep 2022. How come yours above rm350?

if husband income 250kpa
wife income 30k pa,

better file joint or individual?

I think every scenario except wife is housewife, or she earns so little, should file separately.

Don't be a smartass. Claim what you PAID. If not sure, refer to the final price on the invoice.

Is the change in income tax % for YA2023 already in effect? When will we see reductions in our PCB taxes?
