Last year, I reported on 25th March and only get the refunded by 5th May. So the refund can be delayed.

The years before within 2 weeks.

This is normal for folks declare later, but those who declare on 1st, usually within 2 or 3 days already can see changes.

It's noticeable this year they are a bit slow, puasa month maybe cry.gif

husband: permanent worker, EA - kena taxed.
spouse: part time worker, no epf, CP58.

should husband declare tax as "berasingan", or "diri sendiri di mana pasangan tiada pendapatan / tiada punca pendapatan / ada pendapatan dikecualikan cukai"

2nd option ok? since this term "ada pendapatan dikecualikan cukai" looks appropriate?

Jumlah pendapatan yang dipindahkan mesti ada nilai. Sila masukkan pendapatan pasangan dari HK6 atau selain HK6.

Just guess as I am not a qualified tax consultant.

spouse: part time worker, no epf, CP58, got exceed the tax file opening threshold of something like, RM 3x,xxx income pa?

I would read articles previuosly mentioning separate filling hv more benefits under most conditions.

Anyway, while waiting value added responses,
Try read this for some added info

"The best way to find out if you should file jointly or separately with your spouse is to prepare the tax return both ways. Double check your calculations and then look at the net refund or balance due from each method.

If you use e-filing to file for your tax returns, you will be able to see the tax due for each individual and compare it with the joint assessment. This way, you will be able to see which filing status gives you the biggest tax savings."

Should You Get Joint Or Separate Income Tax Filing As A Couple?

that depends on whether you are reporting the income of the spouse
pendapatan dikecualikan cukai = exempted income (e.g. interest income from financial institution, dividend income of RM 100,000 or below, foreign source, etc)
instead of referring to income threshold not subject to tax

if your spouse has no income, you should select 'suami / isteri tiada pendapatan' instead of 'memilih taksiran bersama...'
otherwise, the value in B10 cannot be RM Nil

Perform endoscopy due to gastric issue.

-Basic supporting equipment for disabled self, spouse, child or parent

Thanks for help.Appreciated!

Seems like both items are not eligible for tax relief.Sad.

However for item1, performed endoscopy was requested by specialist. So is that consider defined by MMC?

Endoscopy is a specific examination into 1 area....thus perhaps that falls into the last paragraph of the terms as stated in that earlier image?
Just my guess

In simple term "excess refund" approved.

PCB collected for 2024 "zeroized". Majority of it paid the declared tax while the balance transferred to refund bucket.
