FFXIV Square Enix Support, Is it ok to reveal my identify/region?

Hi guys,
Sorry if this is a stupid question. But I want to know that since FFXIV is not available in our Country. If I have some matter and need to send my IC to them to verify to reset something. Is that okay to reveal that I am a player from other region ? I mean if they know I am not from either EU, US, JP will they still allow me to play their game? |
