 dropped my 535 n screen cracked, help me!

hello there everyone.
was excited with the new build until this happen just now sad.gif((

wanna ask if Microsoft would still cover this damage. fyi I just bought this phone last month sad.gif

Try warranty... But u drop it I guess ER...

last time used L920 lasts fr 2+ years. then piap, downgrade to 535 as i'm broke atm cry.gif so any reasonable excuse beside dropped? whistling.gif

if they see got dent on the body then they will take is as user accidentally drop the phone
overheating until screen crack is not a common issue, so I doubt they will believe

awesome phone choice, but it no warranty for screen crack by dropping.

dont think there is any warranty on screen crack like that, its consider human error. Replacing the LCD screen i think it would cost nearly a new L535, how much did you buy the L535?

sure i cant use that excuse, cz already got slight dent before this. nvr tot this phone so fragile, cz my 920 survived several time of drops on road. this time only drop on table sweat.gif

tu lah i read the warranty, said no cover for salah sendiri damage. bought at RM470 i guess, from directd. so i guess better find new phone lah doh.gif

Just check Ebay, the screen it self is around $45 not including shipping, shipping is $10-15 so lets assume its $60 & you DIY your self, maybe around Rm240? if from Nokia i would say its probably RM300-350 with labor charge? Yeah better buy new lol

I think 535 is around RM400 or below maybe
if you got more budget, buy 640 or 640xl

Sell as spare parts. 535 used also less than RM 350 if u shop around. Replacing the screen probably set u back RM 250+. Ain't worth it.

i have once be in ur position so determined to fix it myself but then i got advice from friends who actually have tried it and they say u need all the right tools and equipment to do it. otherwise all shop can close la if user all can diy.

You will need some tools to get it done, it wont be easy to remove the digitizer from the LCD. Hence why ppl sell the LCD together for a reason tongue.gif
