I'm really interested in the Billow v2, been looking at youtube reviews and really liking those big juice channels (i'm a high vg guy). But here's my dilemma, I just got the evic vt, so I've been running temp control on my subtank mini no problem (twisted 32awg ni200).
The billow is a dual coil RTA, I'm forseeing a tough time doing dual ni200 builds in here without (a) tearing my hair out fiddling with soft as shit wire or (b) getting builds that don't fit well since in order to get a decent 0.1-0.2 ohm range i need a lot of wraps (billow's deck is small)
Anyone running a billow v2 with nickel builds? How do you maintain your sanity? Is it worth getting a billow, using kanthal and ignoring the TC part of my mod? Halp!

Just got the billow v2. 28awg kanthal dual coil 0.6 ohms. Chucking clouds! So Hnngh, totally worth the trip to sg Wang to get it

Managed to build a dual 32awg Nickel coil in the Billow v2. Clocks in at 0.18 ohms.

Zen meditation can kiss my ass, working with this wire requires Buddha-like patience.

Been using my evic 2 weeks without issues. At first with spittank mini 0.2 ohm nickel build then now using billow v2 also nickel build. The TC is decent. Not as great as the DNA or Yihi chips but it works. Some people have found that it kicks you out to wattage mode some times but i've never had that happen yet.

Only problem i've found with my TC is that it sometimes allows a dry hit (mild) to go through. And on my subtank (since the wicking is not great) it sometimes cuts off the power to enter temp protection mode too quickly resulting in weak ass vapor.

But as an entry level TC mod at this price, it's hard not to recommend it. But pair it with a better tank, the evic set tank doesn't have an RBA yet. Also a big fan of the giant screen and menu system.

I have both the spittank mini and the billow. Billow has slightly "cleaner" flavour compared to the stm. Lighter nuances can be noticed compared to the kanger. But not by much, if your juice isn't a premium one, they're both about the same. Of course they both pale in comparison to say, the kayfun in terms of flavor la. I just prefer the billow cos no leaks so far, no spits and dual coil build. I like building coils. It's relaxing.

I use the Flavourist kl. Website is theflavourist dot com. They're in melawati. I've ordered twice thru mail and just drove there this weekend. Really nice place / cafe. They don't have nicotine on hand though, it's on order. I only make 0mg liquid so it doesn't bother me. Recipes can be found a plenty on the internets.

Muji is in sunway pyramid. It's a cosmetic and beauty shop. Sephora apparently also sells organic cotton pads but I've never used them before.

Between 15-30w. I sometimes go lower depending on the feeling. The sweet spot is user determined. Too high and you can't do long drags else you taste the fiery breath of Satan.

When i first started Vaping I'd lurk here and see what mods / tanks are mentioned often then watch YouTube reviews by pbusardo, rip trippers or grimmgreen. They are in depth and pretty honest especially pbusardo. If they find something they don't like they'll hantam. That's how i decided which device to drop my money on.

Ugh, anyone know any vape shop in subang / pj / kelana area that carries 30gauge nickel wire? It's like a unicorn wei, so hard to find. Been to like 8 shops so far. I find my 32 gauge a bit too thin and fiddly to work with. It's doable, but I'm running low on patience now
