Bro, since that card is a reference unit, it'll be very easy to watercool it
Just buy Corsair HG10 + any AIO
Even a single 120MM/140MM AIO watercooling kit would be able to cool it as much as 60°C on full load

Reference unit is the easiest to watercool thumbsup.gif

Check this out
I just move the switch into position far from where I connect the monitor

Why is it overclocked since it should be "Silent Mode"?

Referenced 290 doesn't have uber/quiet switch position by default. Both switch position have the same copy of BIOS on 290.

Seriously? Did you check that Gpuz of mine?
In different switching position, both loading the different version of bios
But Im confused why the "silent mode" clock is affected with "uber" even it load the different bios

Bios 015.041.xx = Silent position
Bios 015.039.xx = Uber position

You did said you flashed different BIOS earlier. Of course you will see two different BIOS version now. Referenced 290 doesn't have uber/silent BIOS by default ("...uber/quiet switch position by default" is conveying same meaning). That what I said.

Did you shutdown your computer when you flipped the switch? Try cold-boot your computer.

Yes, I flash the bios earlier
From my understanding, u told that ref 290 shall have same bios in silent or uber mode?

It might make sense since I didnt check it earlier before I do the bios flash laugh.gif laugh.gif
