Instabilities? Those parts are disabled for a good reason......

http://www.overclock.net/t/1443242/the-r9-...x-unlock-thread

Read all pages if you wanna know what kinds of instabilities that might appears........

laugh.gif If you bought the gpu from eBay, Alibaba and etc......there is high probability the card was used for bitcoin/litecoin/anykindofcoin mining activity.

Short story = gpu used for mining virtual coin tends to die quickly.

Labuan? Now everything also taxed with GST. Some electronics even got double-taxed.

The only way I can think......is to buy the product online, declare it as 'other form of goods brows.gif ' and hope the goods won't arouse custom officer suspicion........

Cause most PC shops buy the electronics goods from KL distribution center at GST inclusive price. (Already got GST at import stage)
Blame it on cabotage policy.

EDIT: "GST-free in name only"

EDIT V2 : Some may say shop can claim GST credit from supplier (in this case, KL distribution center), but for this to be possible.....shops must register for GST. Majority of shops in Labuan won't register for sure.

The secondary card is in low power state or off because ULPS. Because of this GPU-Z unable to read correct info from your secondary card. GPU-Z only guessing the shader count which is incorrect. Your card is 290, not 290X.

Look at mine.
