Window 10 default driver or Catalyst 15.7.1?

How on earth you can convert a mobile GPU to a desktop GPU with Windows 10?

A bit of tip for AMD users:

If you use Chrome, and if you experience that the Omnibox (address bar) is slow to display characters when you type them, disable hardware acceleration in Chrome settings.

I am currently running on Radeon HD 6570 2GB, I am planning to get a used <Rm400 AMD GPU to replace mine currently, searching garage sales leads me to a used Dual-X R9 270 2GB OC With Boost, is this GPU ok or is there any better ones within that price range?

of course R9 280 give a bit more performance for 1080p gaming...

That proc will bottleneck a 7950/280 and over imo. Stick with 270 unless you plan to upgrade to a better platform in near future.
Performance diff between 270 & 280 is quite significant unless that 280 was clocked at ~850mhz or something.

If you can find a GTX760 for under RM500 that'll be a better choice since a 760 is a tier or 2 higher than the 270 and it will perform better on FX-4170 compare to the same tier of AMD card.

yaa just update window 10 PRO... so.. wow so smooth(during upgrade ) hm... but where my bitdefender total gone ?? eh.. well gonna try 3dmark... dx12 is built in win 10 right ?

Just tried pCars using the same replay and setting as previous but with Catalyst 15.7.1.
Gained a couple more FPS on average with similar frametime.

I have some plan for upgrade my current gc which is Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR3 (been using since 2012).
I'm looking budget around RM400.

Any recommendation for that price?

The game I'd played mostly nowday AC sim racing game.
But graphics part lacking the most.

So i plan for upgrade on gc, then later on proc if needed.
Looking both used & new.

Seems like used not much choice as all are nvidia...I'm more towards with ati cards.

They're cheap & serve me well.
