I have a question regarding these BIOSes thingy. I have never toy around with one before.

Is it correct for me to assume let's say, I can buy a powercolor R9 390 and flash the MSI R9 390 so that I can get the OC setting of the MSI card?

Just got myself a Powercolor R9 390 after a few months of waiting. Couldn't justify more expensive GPU since I play almost exclusively on 1080p. And that will stay that way for now.

Nvidia Riva TNT 2 > Geforce 6600GT > Radeon HD4870 > Radeon 7850 > R9 390

Anyway tested R9 390 last night and for 1080p gaming, it could last for a while. Tested most games I have all maxed out. Hopefully enough until the next 16nm architechture mature.

For Source 2 will have support for DX12 right? Let's see what they bring to us then.

From what I read from reddit/comment section, it is running with only 5% async compute enabled. As Unreal Engine 4 is sponsored by Nvidia, they prevents the full use of async.

In other words, DX12 really realizes the potential of AMD gpus pulling it closer/past nvidia offerings, even without full async support.

Exactly, they don't dare to compete on the same field.

Let's hope the frostbite and Nitrous engine can make its way into more games. Then we can see the full pontential of AMD and DX12.
